Mother Nature's Yo-Yo

OK, this is getting a little out of hand. Yesterday was sunny and beautiful, with temps nearing 10° C (about 50° F) - basically perfect spring riding weather. Last night on the news the weatherman said (and I quote) "not really sure what's going to happen tomorrow due to a strange weather system coming through". Ha! Oh well, I've got to give the guy points for being honest.

This morning when I got up the sky was grey, but no snow. When I finished breakfast, it was starting to come down. By the time I was ready to leave for work, it was really coming down! Now I'm sitting here at my desk looking out the window at the snow covered street. Morning DJ on the radio says all the schools are closed, as are the colleges, universities, medical clinics, etc... Yet, I'm still here. I guess it's not that bad, I mean, it's not like I could be riding!

I feel you pain, my friend. I've only gotten out for a couple of rides myself. It sucks to have winter in spring time...

You live in California and there's snow? I have to get out more. Have to dig out the map and see what part of CA you are in, I guess. Be of good cheer, riding weather will soon arrive to stay a while!

irondad - The CA stands for Canada in this case, not the republic of Cali! Although I admit, sometimes I wish I was in California.

Cheers,

Anybody know how to change the country code in a Blogger template? Blogger simply abbreviates it to CA rather than CAN, or Canada...

I'll try to figure out a way to clear it up!

Cheers,
Lucky

Lucky, have you got riding weather yet?

I've been so busy with everything Spring throws at me that I haven't checked back here in awhile.

Hope everything is going well for you. Since this post appeared two weeks ago, maybe you've been riding your arse off ever since.

Here's hoping that's the case...

Ride well,
=gc=
